🟣 AI is at it again

don’t compare yourself to a robot

Bonjour my delicious little digestive biscuit.

There's a new breed of comparison that could be fucking with your head.

I spoke about this back in January when I told you about an AI generated ad for bullshit weight loss pills.

And now there’s even more fuckery afoot.

I've been watching people compare themselves to images online, beating themselves up because they don't look like some filtered, airbrushed, AI-generated version of "perfection”.

It's always been the case with magazines and the internet.

A bit of flattering lighting here, a sneaky touch of airbrush there.

But in this new age of AI?

It's getting fucking ridiculous.

And look, comparison is something that’s hard wired into us.

So as much as I could tell you to not compare yourself to others?

I know you’re going to.

And in some cases it’s not a bad thing if it’s done in a healthy and productive way.

But comparing yourself to AI altered images?

That’s a fucking non starter.

So please, for the love of all that's holy, remember this when you compare yourself to how someone else looks:

They might not even bloody look like that.

If you're spending more time and energy looking at other people's lives rather than focusing on your own life...

Then you’ll end up balls deep in a pit of sadness and self loathing.

And you’ll not only be blind to any progress you make.

You’ll also forget to take in what’s important in life.

So I'm just here to pull your head back into reality so you can focus on your own shit again.

You can put your time and energy into the stuff that actually matters.

Doing the stuff that serves YOU.

So you can feel like your best self.

Not some AI-generated fantasy version that doesn't exist.

Here's what I want you to focus on instead:

How do YOU feel in your body?
Are YOU getting stronger?
Are YOU building habits that make you feel good?
Are YOU showing up for yourself consistently?

That's the only comparison that matters.

Fuck the AI filtered highlight reel.

Confidence is built in reps, habits, and showing up when it's hard.

You just need someone to help you see that.

As a lapsed lifting weights lover this had made it easy to follow a routine and remind my body that it CAN do the heavy lifting I am asking of it. No guilt trip if I have to skip a workout, or swap one lift for another because
