🟣 Bored of boys with podcasts?

This is what they don't get

The amount of posts I see from lads saying

“It really IS just as easy as a calorie deficit and steps to lose fat”

is honestly relentless right now.

And the top comment, nine times out of ten, is something like:

“Easy for you to say, laddie. You’re 21. I’m 47, navigating menopause while my teenagers won’t give me a fucking second of peace.”

And I get that frustration. Fully.

Because while I’m a 30-year-old whippersnapper with cats instead of kids, these women came to us with the exact same rage bubbling under the surface.

All of them struggling to see meaningful change and felt exhausted, frustrated, wondering why their body suddenly felt like it had stopped playing by the rules.

So what did we tell them to do to help them drop anywhere from 15-45kg each?

“Eat in a calorie deficit. Get your steps in. Lift some weights.”

Yeah. I know. Dickheads, the lot of us, lol.

Things do change with menopause and age. I’m not pretending otherwise.

Body fat redistributes around the midsection, which is fucking charming. Night sweats and sleep disruption can absolutely shag your energy levels and get your brain foggy.

Layer that on top of a world built for desk-dwelling divas, step counts averaging under 5k a day, and calorie-dense food being easier to access than a decent night’s sleep.

Then add a diet industry that’s spent 20 to 30 years absolutely shitting on your relationship with food.

And congrats. You’ve got yourself a full-strength cocktail of tom-fuckery when it comes to fat loss.

But the answer to “what works for fat loss during menopause” is still the same.

You need to be in a calorie deficit.

That means understanding intake. Prioritising filling foods like plants and protein. Moving often.

What changes is not the rules. It’s how hard it becomes to stick to them.

Which is why the women who’ve actually succeeded with us at this stage of life didn’t do it by chasing nonsense like:

“Blast meno belly with this one exercise”
“Reset your hormones with this diet”

They did it by working with their doctors to support hormonal changes.

They did it by building nutrition systems that meant consistency didn’t fall apart the second life got difficult.

They learned to take imperfect action. Half-arsed sessions instead of zero-arsed ones. A few steps instead of none on the days energy was on the floor.

And they had us in their corner when the scale fucked about or self-doubt crept in, so they didn’t pack it all in the moment things felt hard.

If you need that level of support, we’ve got a few spaces left at £195 per month for 1-1 coaching.

Prices increase to ÂŁ220 per month on January 18th, or when our spaces are full, whatever comes first.

So if you want to lock in the current price and head into 2026 feeling strong, capable, and fucking wonderful in your body, you can join us or book a call here:

Let’s do this properly.

Big love,

Rachel

P.S.

A couple of you have messaged about BYB. You’ve not missed anything, we’re just launching a little later this year. I’ll be emailing more about this in the coming weeks so eyes sharp!
