Right at that critical moment? Something infiltrates the brain and your focus snaps in the wrong direction

Because I have - and it fucking sucks.

Iâm talking a fresh workout plan or dieting attempt (obviously đ)
Because weâve all bloody been there. You kick start your health shindig again with all the motivation in the world.
THIS summer youâre going to feel the shit. THIS year, youâre going to put yourself first.
Only for life to still be a complete arsehole & for your motivation to go dwindling with it
Workouts get missedâŚ
Same old meal prep swapped for a drive through on the way homeâŚ
One âfuck itâ follows another and habits trickle back to square one, again
Look Iâm not here to bark at you and put these moments down to âpathetic excusesâ
Mainly because I know from experience that these âexcusesâ tend to run a little deeper
Building self belief is fucking hard
Working THROUGH your fuck ups is fucking hard
Sitting in the discomfort of not numbing shit days with a Dominos in a duvet burrito is fucking hard
And if you keep on ignoring the things that keep holding you back?
Youâll be pissing around with your laces tied every diet attempt
& itâs likely having better tools and a support system to hold you to a standard is a necessary part of you finally seeing this shit through
And this is where we found Kristina
Kristina had flirted with the gym in the past
But every phase of healthy eating and training would drop off into the fucking abyss
Because after each missed work out or a blow out weekend, sheâd throw her hard work in the bin
Sheâd trodden the path back to pesky square one so many times
That it had crystallised a belief deep in her mind,
âI canât be trusted to show up for myselfâ
And that thought had her convinced that sheâd be better off not trying
(a lie)
But then Kristina joined Blitz Your Bits and started working with coach Ben
And when Kristina mentioned that she didnât trust herself to keep going long term
Ben asked
Why?
Turned out our gal Kristina was a recovering perfectionist and saw her fitness as black and white
She was on the plan
Or off it
And her âon planâ standard was so fucking high, even Arnie Schwarzy would have struggled to stick to it
So failure was inevitable
And she had no plan b.
And this is where everything changed.
Because Ben forced her perfectionist brain to stop being a sabotaging lil gremlin
Embracing the idea that consistent imperfect action shits on occasional perfect action, every damn day of the week
Coaching her through the wobbles when previously she might have thrown it all away
Helping her to show up with kindness whenever things werenât executed exactly to plan
So that over time, Kristina rewired her brain to reassure herself that this change was permanent
Because she could trust herself to come through time and again
After that, the results just kept coming
Kristina has had an UNREAL 18 months with us
Started by dropping 25% of her body fat
She took time AWAY from the gym & without that naggy guilt chipping away at her, she actually enjoyed her holidays more, progress in tact
AND sheâs found a new hobby for life in weight training, tucking away some breathtaking progress in recent months
â Fat loss goal reached
â New obsession unlocked
đ 400lbs hip thrust pending (no you read that right)
