🟣 I blew a mug

and I don't regret it x

I will be the first to admit,

I'm a fucking nightmare when it comes to planning.

Type B personality to the fucking T.

Coming to Japan - I had booked my accommodation for Tokyo and that was it for my month's stay here.

Before you panic, I've always been allergic to a plan.

When I went to Vietnam, I booked the accommodation for my arrival in Heathrow.

When I went to New Zealand for 6 months, I bought a car from a car yard and flung a mattress in the back - making shit up for the 8 weeks that followed.

It's just how I love to gallivant.

(Don't worry - I know I'm an outlier here and this is not the way to travel lol)

But the "fuck about and find out" method to gallivanting is exactly how I ended up discovering how to blow glass to make a mug (a skill EVERYONE secretly wishes they have).

The mug I blew x

It's also how I stumbled across this mountain where I caught the most breathtaking view of Fuji.

I SWEAR to you - nothing excites me more than a fuckin volcano. Just LOOK AT HER.

Ok, ok, ok.

I'll stop being a lil braggy bastard now.

But these moments of magic wouldn't have happened if I scheduled my whole trip to the minute.

As these were things that happened by bimbling around with an open itinerary.

This isn't to say - "stop planning and live life on vibes moving forwards."

But I genuinely believe we could all thrive with having just a bit of space for life.

And I think not leaving space is somewhere where people fuck up when it comes to their nutrition.

Looking to find the perfect meal plan or perfect calories.

Trying to plan their way out of low motivation, boredom or binging.

And sure - it may help in some ways.

But in other ways - eating healthy becomes so rigidly boring that you understandably fuck it all off within the first sniff of a takeaway.

Which is exactly why we don't approach nutrition this way with rigid meal plans.

What we see work really bloody well is a flexible middle that flirts between structure-based planning and vibe-based planning.

How that looks? 1700kcal 120g PRO budget example:

Breakfast: 1-2 options - 300-400kcals, 30-40g PRO

Lunch: 1-2 options - 400-600kcals, 30-40g PRO

Snacks: 1-2 snacks - 200kcals 1 fun (lil choccy bar). 1 filling (fruit or protein)

Have option 1 snack/lunch until you’re bored of it. Then do option 2 until you’re bored of it. When you’re bored of 2, can likely come back to option 1 again.

Make the options easy, repeatable, and taste good enough to repeat a chunk (any of the breakfast/lunch recipes on the BITS app designed for this)

Then

Dinner?

You have a cushion of calories left over (e.g. 600-800 from the example above)

Expand your options to 5-10 meals on rotation - giving space for evening meals to share that time with your family or partner while giving more variety.

Because as fun as winging every diet choice to avoid boredom sounds

It requires a lot of decision making

Which often leads to diet fatigue and fucking it off when you’re tracking yet another new meal

Structured flexibility where there’s some boring bits, but enough fun to ride it out and enough ease to stay consistent?

Yeah. Fucking sexy stuff that ;)

But fuck - if trying to find the right foods or build a food structure that actually gets you building consistency has you wanting to launch your phone at the wall, you're not alone.

And you're probably not bad at nutrition. You just haven't had someone help you find that flexible middle that works for your life.

But that’s exactly what Blitz Your Bits is for.

It's 8 weeks of group coaching where we help you build this stuff out properly. Not with a rigid plan you'll bin by week two. But with a structure that fits around your actual life, your actual evenings, your actual level of arsed-ness on a Wednesday night.

You get weekly check ins, a live call with me each week, and a community of people who are figuring out the same shit you are.

Not a highlight reel. Not a before and after factory. Just a room full of people who are done with the all-or-nothing bollocks and want something that actually sticks.

Spaces go live next Tuesday, March 24th.

If you want in, spaces go out first to app members
