🟣 "I can lift my wife!!!!"
life PB’s
Oi oi my ravishing little rhubarb crumble!
One of the things you learn from coaching thousands of humans is that getting stronger isn't just about the gym.
It's about all the little moments where life suddenly feels easier than a buttered slide.
Like when you're rushing for the train and realize you can sprint up those station stairs without sounding like a broken hoover.
Or when your mate asks for help moving house, and you're carrying boxes like they're filled with bloody feathers.
Or that moment when you're playing with your kids/nieces/random small humans, and you can swing them around for AGES without your arms feeling like they're about to drop off.
These are the moments where you realise all the wobbly reps and nerve wracked gym sessions have been more than worth it.
You feel like a superhero in disguise, just casually crushing your daily tasks like they're nothing.
This isn't about becoming the next Olympic weightlifter (unless that's your jam, in which case, crack on).
It's about being strong enough to say "yeah, I can do that" without a second thought.
And speaking of which...
One of our Team Henley superstars just messaged me something that made me proper emotional:
"I CAN LIFT MY WIFE!!!!!"
(The number of exclamation marks really adds to the victory, doesn't it?)
From being worried about basic movements to casually picking up whole entire humans.
If you're sitting there thinking "cor, that sounds proper lush" - our 1:1 coaching spots are open right now.
We'll help you build the kind of strength that makes everyday life feel like you're playing on easy mode.
Or you can check out our Bits App which has all the workouts, guidance, and support, minus the faff.
It also tells you what animal you’ve lifted when you’ve logged all your weights for your session.
Someone lifted a whole Rhino last week 🦏.
Because here's the truth, my precious little panna cotta...
Getting stronger isn't just about what you can lift in the gym.
It's about being ready for whatever life throws at you.
(Including, apparently, your wife.)
Big love,
Rachel 🥰
P.S. Just imagine all the random things you'll be able to lift once you get started.
The world becomes your personal strength test - just try not to lift anything without consent, yeah? x
