Good morning my fudgy lil flamingo

I was 7 when mum was told I’d be lucky to complete school with anything more than a participation certificate

Riddled with dyslexia and an anxiety disorder - I’d get cold sweats trying to read and skip a sizeable chunk of school days

I wasn’t exactly primed for a PhD 

Yet somehow I limped through school (with an A in English thanks to my sister’s ghostwriting services), and did “just enough” to get into Art college, and ended up designing bathrooms.

But there was an issue.

Bathroom design didn’t even remotely tickle my titties.

I bloody loved sport. Loved training. Knew I wanted to help people.

So I said fuck it. Retrained as a coach on evenings and weekends and spent all my savings to started this business.

All less than 500 followers and enough delusion to give it a whack.

Now? I’ve coached 1000s of icons in our group and 1-1 program. Reinvested (hundreds) of thousands into building an app that is changing the way people see training. Getting insane results on a daily basis.

I tell you all this for one reason:

If you’ve ever looked around and felt like everyone else was handed a head start while you were trying to run in cement shoes - I’ve lived it.

You might be starting from a place that feels unfair. 

You might be genetically up against it, metabolically confused, and emotionally exhausted. You might be trying harder than everyone around you and still getting worse results.

You look around and think: how the hell are they making it look easy when I’m fighting for every scrap of progress?

But I need you to hear this: 

Your destiny is not made up by your start point - it's a result of how you show up regardless.

Your struggle is not just in your head. It’s real. Some people do have it easier - genetically, financially, emotionally. And it’s okay to feel a bit bitter about that sometimes.

But shifting your focus to showing up 1% better each day? Choosing to keep going when it’s hard? Learning to focus on your own lane, even when everyone else looks faster?

On the other side of that is likely results you have deemed impossible.

As most people overestimate what they can do in a short amount of time, yet underestimate what they can do with consistency over the long haul.
