🟣 Mindful Eating 101

hunger isn’t the whole story

Well hello my ravishing little ratatouille,

Mindful eating has become VERY popular in the past few years.

And our coach Sophia has some thoughts about that.

*dramatically pulls curtain back*

Turns out, mindful eating isn't just about sitting cross-legged on your kitchen floor, eyes closed, having a spiritual moment with your sandwich.

Here's what it ACTUALLY looks like…

Sometimes it's eating when you're NOT hungry (gasp!) 

Because you know you've got back-to-back meetings until 3pm.

Or tucking into a high protein breakfast because you know it sets you up for the day better than 3 coffees on an empty stomach.

Sometimes you’ll eat a preworkout meal even if you don’t feel like it.

Because skipping it means you'll be lifting weights with the energy of a sloth on sedatives.

If you're trying to build muscle, it might mean scoffing down another meal when you'd rather eat your own crocs.

And what’s the common theme here, my ravishing little radish?

You are in control.

You’re making informed decisions about your food choices so you can feel, think, and perform like a boss instead of like a hangry gremlin.

And I know that might have you thinking…

“But Rachel, I can’t make informed decisions about food”?

Which I totally get.

Buuuuuuut…

You can.
