🟣 The calorie-burning trap
why you're probably hating your workouts...
Oi Oi you scrumptious little custard cream!
So you’re at the gym…
Huffing and puffing through a workout you HATE.
Face like a flash fried tomato.
Sweating from your tits, pits and bits.
And all because some melt told you it burns loads of calories?
Here's how this usually plays out:
You pick an exercise you hate because it "burns more calories"...

You force yourself to do it because "no pain no gain"...
⬇️
You start dreading your workouts…
⬇️
You skip sessions because, well, they're bloody awful…
⬇️
You stop being consistent…
⬇️
You don't see results…
⬇️…
You throw your toys out the pram…
⬇️
You stop doing anything for your health and fitness because you’ve decided it’s all fucking pointless.
And just like that…
You've gone from motivated to miserable.
Why are we doing this to ourselves?
Exercise isn't meant to be a punishment for eating.
It's not about "burning off" last night's dinner.
It's about:
âś… Getting stronger Feeling capable
âś… Having more energy
âś… Being able to chase your kids/dog/dreams without dying
âś… Looking in the mirror and thinking "damn, I'm strong"
And yes…
Being someone that people want to shag silly (come on, we’re all adults here).
And here's the plot twist:
When you enjoy your training, you show up consistently.
When you show up consistently, you get results.
When you get results, you want to keep going.
It's the complete opposite of the calorie-burning hamster wheel.
