🟣 The Crocs Of Glory
how to dodge a mosh pit
Well hello my horny little ham sandwich.
So I was at Download festival last weekend.
It was three days of mud, metal, and absolute mayhem.
And there I was, jumping around like a possessed gremlin.
Screaming along to absolute bangers.
In the middle of mosh pits dodging elbows and the spikes on leather jackets.
And I did all of this…
In my Crocs and fucking socks.
Oh yes.
These little beauties survived all that chaos.
They might have been bear soaked, muddier than usual and close to being lost more than once.
But they came home on my feet and after a quick scrub they are good as new.
Here's what really hit me though…
I ate food, drank beer, danced like a gremlin, and went to bed at 2am for three nights straight.
And I loved every second of it.
Five years ago?
I'd have obsessed over how I looked in my outfits.
I'd have spent Monday punishing myself for everything I ate and drank over the weekend.
And I'd have come home feeling like I'd "ruined" my progress and needed to get back on track.
But here's the thing about doing the work on yourself...
Progress isn't when you finally hit that magic number on the scales.
Progress is when life starts to feel lighter.
Because you don't do this work to have the perfect body.
You do it so your body doesn't become a prison that keeps you from making memories.
You do it so you can say yes to spontaneous weekends without spiralling.
So you can eat, drink and be fucking merry when it matters.
So you can eat the bloody chips without writing off the rest of your week.
When's the last time you went into a long weekend or any other life event without stressing out your tits about the “damage”?
What would it feel like to live completely guilt-free during moments like that?
To have the kind of relationship with your body that lets you show up fully for the moments that matter.
Would be pretty fucking sick, right?
Well, if you want to make a small step towards that being your reality today then you can hit the link below to become a BITS Baddie:
Honestly this is such an easy to use but supportive app – and I'm just using it as a stand-alone without any additional coaching. Very happy with the app and the programs available. Happily recommend to anyone!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
And then if you want to go full send on it like me in the most pit in my crocs?
Look out for when BYB Spaces go LIVE at the end of this month.
And snap up one of those bad boys FAST.
Big love,
Rachel 🥰
P.S. Also, RIP to the socks I wore under the Crocs. Fallen soldiers of the mosh pit.
