Well hello my decadent little dim sum,

Do you ever find thinking for yourself is just fucking exhausting?

Cos I do. 

When I was buying my house there were moments where I wanted anyone but me to make the decisions.

Iā€™d of stopped a rando in the street and asked them to pick a mortgage deal for me. 

But itā€™s not just the big life decisions that make me feel this way. 

There are times when even the thought of thinking for myself feels like getting a douple uppercut to both titties off Tyson Fury. 

So itā€™s suuuuuuuper tempting to outsource my thinking to ANYONE else.

But itā€™s always a terrible decision.

Because while you might not feel like thinking for yourself in a given momentā€¦

The decisions you outsource will come back to bite you in the arse (and not in the nice way that makes you raise your eyebrows and purr like a kitty).

So even though I had my mortgage advisor, solicitor, estate agent, and parents all giving their expert guidanceā€¦

Guess who had to make the actual decisions?

This nervous egg right here.

Because professionals can guide you, but YOU have to make the final call.

Itā€™s my house, my life and my future.

So Iā€™m the one making the decisions. 

You do the same when it comes to your career, relationships, what to watch on Netflix (arguably the most stressful decision of all).

Because youā€™re an independent thinker.

Except when it comes to your health and fitness. 

Which I get.

This shit is confusing.

Youā€™ve got a lot riding on getting the results you want.

So itā€™s way easier to have a cookie cutter meal plan or generic training program make all your decisions for you. 

Except itā€™s not.

Youā€™ll eventually feel the independent thinker in you question why in the fuckity fuck youā€™re fasting and drinking apple cider vinegar.

Or whatever other random shit your ā€œplanā€ has got you doing. 

Because you might not be a qualified coach.

But you know when things arenā€™t a good fit for you.
