fancy doing it for me? (pleeeeease)
Well hello my decadent little dim sum,
Do you ever find thinking for yourself is just fucking exhausting?
Cos I do.
When I was buying my house there were moments where I wanted anyone but me to make the decisions.
Iād of stopped a rando in the street and asked them to pick a mortgage deal for me.
But itās not just the big life decisions that make me feel this way.
There are times when even the thought of thinking for myself feels like getting a douple uppercut to both titties off Tyson Fury.
So itās suuuuuuuper tempting to outsource my thinking to ANYONE else.
But itās always a terrible decision.
Because while you might not feel like thinking for yourself in a given momentā¦
The decisions you outsource will come back to bite you in the arse (and not in the nice way that makes you raise your eyebrows and purr like a kitty).
So even though I had my mortgage advisor, solicitor, estate agent, and parents all giving their expert guidanceā¦
Guess who had to make the actual decisions?
This nervous egg right here.
Because professionals can guide you, but YOU have to make the final call.
Itās my house, my life and my future.
So Iām the one making the decisions.
You do the same when it comes to your career, relationships, what to watch on Netflix (arguably the most stressful decision of all).
Because youāre an independent thinker.
Except when it comes to your health and fitness.
Which I get.
This shit is confusing.
Youāve got a lot riding on getting the results you want.
So itās way easier to have a cookie cutter meal plan or generic training program make all your decisions for you.
Except itās not.
Youāll eventually feel the independent thinker in you question why in the fuckity fuck youāre fasting and drinking apple cider vinegar.
Or whatever other random shit your āplanā has got you doing.
Because you might not be a qualified coach.
But you know when things arenāt a good fit for you.
This is exactly why I created the BITS App differently.
Yes, we give you proven programs.
Yes, we show you proper form.
Yes, we guide you through progressive overload.
But more importantly?
We teach you WHY you're doing each exercise.
We explain HOW to adjust things for your body.
We empower you to make informed decisions.
So when you see the next fitness trend pop up, you can think:
"Hang on... does this actually make sense for ME?"
