I was sat there.

Clutching a Boots meal deal with hands clammy as hell.

The bloke to my right was muttering prayers like he was negotiating with God directly.

I flew to Poland Thursday to spend the weekend with my best mates, a trip I had been buzzing for

And even I’ve clocked up a chunk of air miles over the years

Every single time those wheels leave the tarmac, my brain decides this is The One.

Thanks to teenage years spent glued to Air Crash Investigations, I am fully convinced a mild wobble of turbulence is actually the opening scene of my own documentary.

Anxiety is a fucking bitch for that.

It’s the fear you can’t see, the danger you can’t prove and it makes you feel completely helpless.

But here’s the real bugger

Travelling feeds my fucking soul

OOooo She’s cultured xox.

And unless I plan on swimming to Asia, flying is part of the deal.

So if I want the magic on the other side, I have to crack on with “doing it scared”

And this runs beyond a Boeing 737…

When I first posted fitness content, I was terrified people would think I was a fucking loser.

Some of them did and you know what? I lived. And my life has got insanely better because of it.

When I first went to the gym, it took me a full year to tickle a dumbbell.

But if I’d waited to feel confident, calm, and fearless? I probably would still be a dumbbell virgin

And fuck, a virgin virgin too 😂
