It wasn’t on my bucket list to engage in a verbal battle with a Chinese man this trip but alas…

Here we are.

My day had started incredibly

Getting up at sparrows fart o’clock to clamber up to the Great Wall Of China 

Topped only by the fact I rode toboggan back down

Because the logical way to decent from one of the most impressive feats of engineering is via a fucking slide, right?

But while they have impeccable walls and toboggans here - they do not have the smoothest of public transport (either that or I just don’t understand it… highly likely)

So I grabbed a taxi back to Beijing, setting me back ~150 Yuen/£15 for a 1.5 hour ride

Which is why when later that day, after I inhaled 24 dumplings, my gaspers were flabbered when my taxi driver tried to charge 200 Yuen for a 14 minute journey

To begin with I thought I was simply in a dumpling induced haze so I wasn’t hearing the gentleman correctly, 

Even handing over 20 Yuen thinking he couldn’t POSSIBLY be charging 200

But no.. he was being deadly serious.

He saw the tourist tax and doubled it in my honour apparently

I snapped; “no… 20 Yuen”

He came down to 100 quicker than Andrew denied his sweating ability

So I bloody knew he was fully taking my for a fucking ride, “You’re having me on!! 20 or nothing”

He of course, didn’t understand my ‘you’re having me on’ - but he saw I was pissed and was not going to play fool to his game

So kicked me out of his taxi, shouting like mad, when he realised I wasn’t going to pay

Now - before you think I’m being an entitled shit-stain…

You know how much the next taxi cost?? 14 Yuen.

Ya girl knows when she’s being ripped off and she will not ever stand for it. 

And with that - I feel it’s only right I pay this skill forwards to you.

To put it bluntly - the fitness industry has a lot of money to be made and a lot shit stains who get horny by the fact. 

The content that finds me on social media about “how to build your online fitness business” royally boils my tits & I hope to shed some light on it for you guys, so you don’t fall trap to the BS out there.

There’s a whole damn industry of “business mentors” that position themselves as people who can “scale your fitness business to make £10k/month”

I’ve seen coaches charging £1000s up front for fitness coaching

I’ve spoken to people tied into contracts with their coaches, hating it and wanting to leave

On the daily, I see coaches talking about people in their business as “high ticket clients” rather than human fucking beings

And I fucking hate it.

Since when did changing people’s lives to be able to feel confident in their bodies and prolong their years with stronger, healthier years and fucking numbers game??

I’ve been coaching over 7 years. Every coach on my team is there for a reason - they give more shits about the human they work with than they do having “high ticket clients”

They too would spew at the thought of locking people into contacts and squeezing every pound from them so that they could feel better in their own skin

Our 1-1 coaching is £220/month and you can leave whenever you like. But weirdly.. people tend to stay for years because of how their lives change when they have us in their corner.
